God Speaks Through His Word

And He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Commandments, which the Lord had spoken to you in the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me. Deut. 10:4

God wrote the Bible for Israel, but not for Israel alone. God wrote the Bible for you. You should never have to ask, "How can God speak to me today?" The Bible is His Word.
Read it.
Pray about it.
Find what it says to you about Him, His ways, and His purposes.

Author of Holy Scripture, I sit before Your Word. Give me the power to concentrate, the obedience to listen, and the faith to act on what You will say to me as I read. Amen.
