Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you, nor forsake you. Deut. 31:6

God's commands are expressions of His nature of love. They are for our good. You can courageously obey all that God invites you to do because He is always present with you. You can count on Him and His limitless power. What fears make you forfeit the experience of God because the fears make you refuse to obey Him?

God, You are the one in whose presence every person must bow in awe and fear. Why then do I bow in fear before things that are so insignificant when compared to You? I call on Your power and Your courage for my life. Amen
