There is restoration and healing with GOD.

We have seen a miracle. Truly. We have peace and we have a child who is asking for forgiveness after every offense. We have never seen this type of behavior from this child. Just last week, this child preferred to keep our home in chaos to be sure that we were all paying attention. This was not always an ongoing issue, it usually only happened at the time of year that our child lost a birthfamily, or in times of stress, like holidays or birthdays. Even though this child's birth family was not a safe one, it was still the only family ever known. This child has always processed everything through a sieve of fear and rejection.

On the last day of the Wellspring conference at church, we took 3 of our kids to the service and they were prayed over by all of the people in attendance. Our kids folded their hands, and repeated each part of the prayer in sincerity. They asked God to help them to forgive the sins of their birthparents. They asked God to forgive the sins of their current parents. They accepted the love of this congregation, and their vow to walk with our family through whatever lies ahead.

We borrowed the DVD of this conference, and last night the kids who were not there for the prayer, prayed it for themselves. They promised to forgive and to love and to never give up on the one who has caused turmoil. Their parents prayed with them. We are going to be okay. God is glorified and HE is still on the THRONE, where He has always been. His love and provision are real. Just ask us.....
