BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Well, we have survived the first week of school. Corey and Whitney went to the new public school on Monday. They are doing great so far. Whitney was fortunate (thank you, God) to land in the same class with the two kids who she remembers fondly from when she attended school there two years ago. I prayed all the way to school when we registered two weeks ago, that God would provide the perfect placement for all four of the biggest kids. I really hesitated about registering them all, but Daddy wanted me to. I didn't tell everyone that they were all signed up, just said Whitney was going, and within hours two of our 'sensitive to change' kids were not doing well, and it got much worse with each passing day. Last week was horrific, with behaviors and food issues. We survived somehow, (God's mercy and grace), and maybe this week we can get some homeschooling done with the ones who have finally somewhat accepted the changes in our home. We will take things one day at a time. I am doing surprisingly well with the 'letting go' part, that is always such a struggle for me. God is my provider. He has provided a way for me to take care of all of my children's educational needs for today. I am grateful!!
