God Speaks Through Your Family

Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me!
We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts
who dwells on Mount Zion.
Isaiah 8:18

Isaiah found that God was revealing Himself through the life
of his family. The symbolic names of his children and the example
of his family compared to the rest of the community proclaimed
God's glory everywhere Isaiah and his family went. What does your
family say about the nature of God just by being present with
other people?

Father, You have given me a family. This is part of the way You
let me join in Your work. Father, work through my family that
we may be signs of who You are and what You are doing in this
world. I give my family to be part of Your work. Amen.
