Tonight we got a call from HollyAnn Petree, our agency director, telling us that your birth parent went to court today at 2:00 with Pastor Wesley, and the judge signed the copy of your court decree that makes you legally our daughter. You are now Mary Bolitho. We were surprised, as it was supposed to have been done on May 13th, and one thing after another happened to delay it. We are almost in a state of disbelief. But the reality that you may live here as our daughter someday is starting to settle into our hearts and minds. It is up to God. There are many stumbling blocks along the way, and we know that if it is His will, He will make it happen. We want what He wants for you most of all. He loves you so much. And we love you enough to let you go if that is what He requires. We trust Him above all.

Praying that you are sleeping well tonight, my love, you have no idea of what has happened today that may forever change your life. I pray that you will adjust easily to the idea when it is presented to you one day. I feel like I just found out that I gave birth to a little girl. It makes me feel very emotional and teary. I hope that we can be everything you need in a family. God will show us the way as we go. He always does.

I love you my sweet girl. You are so far away, but I pray that you have sweet dreams tonight, as I am dreaming of you.

Mommy
