Lord, it is so hard to be patient. We want to know what we're supposed to do,
where we're supposed to go, and how our lives are going to turn out.
And we want to know now.
Sometimes we want to save the world today.
Help us to wait until the right time, until You have set all things in motion,
until You know we are ready.
Prevent us from going out in the world unprepared for the task You have for us.
Lord, grant us patience.
Amen.

Be glad for all God is planning for you.
Be patient in trouble, and prayerful always.
